December is here. Finals are officially done and we're basically given a break from our plain-o daily life; time to enjoy le Christmas holidays.

Black Dungaree: Chocochips

Alright, so before all the maroon and red ornaments, I'd chosen to wear this playful black dungaree from Chocochips. As you can see, we can freely style the inner-outfit as we wish - which again made me come to my decision of wearing a white sleeveless top (just because monochrome never fails). Unfortunately, for those who are planning to go overseas for vacation - it's freezing winter! I suggest you to pick a long sleeved top. Personally, I'd prefer putting on either plain or striped white shirt. You can also match the outfit with a patterned shirt if you want. Anyways, bon vacances!

Everybody just loves clothes that are comfy and casual, don't you agree? In today's post, I am dressed up in a bell sleeved romper from Forever 21. It's made of super light material and also has perfect cutting. Floral patterns + the colour black - such a combination magnifique! I'd totally recommend this style to be worn on a daily basis. Just don't forget to make sure it suits the situation you're about to attend.

So I was scrolling around on F21's website when I spotted a gorgeous navy contemporary floral romper. However, I knew that they don't do direct shipping to Indonesia. The next day, I went to the F21 shop in Jakarta and found this black - floral printed outfit. It's pretty much the same with the one I liked on the web. I adore the bell-sleeves most. I also really fancy the fact that this romper is designed to fit perfectly; since they also provide these sort of belt that you can adjust as you wish. Pretty unique, isn't it?

Delane Choker Jumpsuit : Chocochips │Gladiators : Mystique

Black; mystery and mortality. However, some people, including me, refers to it as one of the most attractively elegant colour. Scrolling to some of my previous posts, you might also notice that I often wear jumpsuits. Count this one, too; another gorgeous clothing that I got from chocochips boutique. Although I don't really recommend to wear black during the hectic sun, but I myself just couldn't endure. Oh, I'd also like to apologize for my absence since I haven't been posting in quite a while because I've just got back from a 12 days long trip to Bali and Lombok (spot my sun kissed skin). Anyways, have a great summer holiday, everyone!

Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth. The cloth made using this technique is also named after the same word. It is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. The applied wax resists dyes and therefore allows the artisan to colour selectively by soaking the cloth in one colour, removing the wax with boiling water, and repeating if multiple colours are desired.

The batik of Indonesia ,is the best-known, compared to batik from other various countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Nigeria. Indonesian batik made in the island of Java has a long history of acculturation, with diverse patterns influenced by a variety of cultures, and is the most developed in terms of pattern, technique, and the quality of workmanship. On October 2009, UNESCO designated Indonesian batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Most of the time, local people 'transform' batik cloths into shirts which is worn as a national clothing every Friday. However, it can be used in many forms. In this case, I decided to put it on as a pair of pants.

Spring has sprung, well it doesn't really happen in Indonesia since we're having the rainy season here. But there are some similiarities between them; such as it is often windy during this time of the year.

So in today's post, I matched a flowery-black crop top with a black laced skirt to create a casual yet also a-bit-formal spring look. This outfit is suitable for many events, starting from casual strolls to semiformal events like parties. It is also perfect for going outdoor.
